Refund Policy
Sovereign is a results-backed program. We promise that if you do the work and don't hit at least multiple four figures ($2,000+) within the 30-day program window, we will refund 2× the amount you paid.
This page explains exactly what qualifies, exactly what disqualifies, and exactly what happens when you request a refund. Read it carefully. By paying, you agree to it.
1. The guarantee
If you complete the program in full (defined below) and do not generate at least $2,000 USD in attributable revenue or income in your chosen major during the 30-day window, you are eligible to request a 2× refund of the program fee you paid.
2. The Point of No Return
The Point of No Return ("PoNR"), also called the "Pass Threshold" in the Success Fee & Business Support Agreement, is the moment your Venture crosses $2,000 USD in cumulative gross revenue during the 30-day program window. Crossing the PoNR means you've passed the program — the program demonstrably worked for you. Effects:
- You are no longer eligible for a refund. The guarantee was that you'd hit multi-4-figures; you did.
- The 5% Success Fee under the Success Fee & Business Support Agreement becomes payable on your Net Collected Revenue for the program window plus 90 days after.
- You unlock the Early Crossover Bonus Tier (see below) — extra mentor sessions, LLC formation help, and cohort spotlight depending on how fast you crossed.
- You become eligible for the Early Crossover Bonus below, based on how fast you crossed.
Early Crossover Bonus Tiers (PoNR-based — unlocked at $2K):
- By Day 7 — Tier 1: bonus 1:1 strategy session + featured in Sovereign cohort spotlight + accelerated 5-Figure Milestone perks if you reach $10K.
- By Day 14 — Tier 2: bonus group strategy call + cohort spotlight feature.
- By Day 21 — Tier 3: extended portal access (read-only after program ends).
- By Day 30 — Tier 4: standard PoNR perks (refund-ineligibility status confirmed; Success Fee applies).
Crossover is verified via platform statements (Stripe, Shopify, brokerage, bank). Self-reporting is the trigger; verification is required to receive bonus rewards.
Success Fee & Post-Success Business Support
Two separate thresholds matter outside the refund analysis:
- Crossing the PoNR ($2K) triggers the 5% Success Fee on Net Collected Revenue for the program window + 90 days under the Success Fee & Business Support Agreement. Passing the program means the program worked — and the Success Fee is the structural exchange for the discounted upfront program price.
- Crossing the 5-Figure Milestone ($10K) additionally makes Operator eligible for Post-Success Business Support — up to $1,500 in business-formation expenses covered.
Refund eligibility and the Success Fee are independent: if you don't cross PoNR, you may be eligible for a refund per this Policy and no Success Fee is owed. If you do cross PoNR, you are not refund-eligible and the Success Fee applies.
3. Refund eligibility — what you must have done
To qualify for a refund, you must have, during the entire 30 days:
- Completed every daily check-in. No more than 2 missed days total across the program. Three or more skipped days disqualifies you automatically.
- Attended every scheduled mentor call (1:1 and cohort). Two or more no-shows disqualifies you.
- Completed every assigned daily task in your major's curriculum, including the Day 1 setup, the Day 7/14/21 milestone gates, and the Day 30 reflection.
- Completed all documented mentor-assigned actions. Actions are documented when they appear as portal tasks, written mentor directives delivered via the operator portal, email, or program chat, or platform-tracked task completions. You completed each within the timeframe given.
- Produced verifiable evidence of effort. Screenshots, logs, listings, content posted, trades executed, code shipped, customer outreach — whatever your major requires. Vague claims of "I tried" do not qualify.
- Engaged in good faith. Honest reporting, no fabricated check-ins, no AI-generated busywork, no copy-paste responses.
4. What disqualifies you
You are not eligible for a refund if any of the following are true:
- You missed 3+ daily check-ins.
- You missed 2+ scheduled mentor calls without rescheduling 48+ hours in advance.
- You skipped or refused to complete a milestone gate (Day 7, 14, 21, 30).
- You failed to complete one or more documented mentor-assigned actions within the timeframe given, without prior written rescheduling or explanation.
- You failed to produce work product in your major (no listings, no content, no trades, no code, no outreach — whatever your major requires).
- You changed majors mid-program without mentor approval.
- You requested the refund before the full 30 days elapsed.
- You requested the refund more than 7 days after the 30-day window closed.
- You issued a chargeback through your bank or card issuer before requesting the refund through this process.
- You provided false information on your application or during the program.
- You earned $2,000+ in your major during the window. (The guarantee is conditional on not hitting the floor — if you hit it, the program worked.)
5. How to request a refund
Within 7 days of your 30-day window closing, submit a refund request by emailing refunds@sovereign.example with subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name]". Include:
- Your full name and the email you applied with.
- Your major and program start/end dates.
- A statement of total revenue/income generated in your major during the window, with supporting evidence (screenshots, statements, dashboards, etc).
- Your bank/card statement reflecting the original program payment.
6. The investigation
Once received, your refund request triggers a strict investigation. We will review the entirety of your participation in the program. This includes:
- Your full check-in log (every day, every task).
- Your attendance record on every mentor call.
- Every piece of work product you submitted, posted, executed, or shipped.
- Direct mentor notes on your follow-through, pivots, and engagement.
- Cross-reference of your claimed revenue figures against bank/platform statements you provide.
- Any messages, emails, or interactions between you and your mentor or cohort.
The investigation takes up to 14 business days. During this time we may request additional documentation or clarification. Failure to respond to investigation requests within 5 business days will close your case as denied.
7. The decision
At the close of the investigation we issue one of three outcomes:
- Refund approved. You qualified — you did the work, didn't hit $2K, and provided clean documentation. We issue 2× your program fee within 5 business days to your original payment method. If your original method cannot accept a refund (some BNPL providers), we issue via ACH or check.
- Refund partially approved. In rare edge cases (e.g. you missed 2 calls due to documented emergency, did everything else, and didn't hit the floor) we may offer a 1× refund as a goodwill measure. This is at sole mentor discretion.
- Refund denied. You did not meet the eligibility criteria. We will provide written reasoning citing the specific disqualifier(s). Decisions are final and not subject to further appeal.
8. Standard (non-guarantee) refunds
Outside of the performance guarantee, Sovereign is a non-refundable program. Once you have paid and the program has begun, the fee is not refundable for change of mind, change of circumstances, schedule conflicts, or dissatisfaction with the program. The 2× performance guarantee above is the only refund mechanism.
9. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer prior to completing the refund process described above will:
- Automatically disqualify you from the guarantee.
- Result in revocation of all program access and materials.
- Be contested by Sovereign with full documentation of your program participation.
If you have a dispute, contact us first. We respond.
10. Changes to this policy
Sovereign reserves the right to update this refund policy. Changes apply to enrollments after the change date and do not retroactively affect students already in-program.
